Kingston University is the only UK Affiliate Campus of the International Space University (ISU), based in Strasbourg France.

 

ISU develops the future leaders of the world space community by providing interdisciplinary educational programmes to students and space professionals in an international, intercultural environment.

 

ISU programmes impart critical skills essential to future space initiatives in the public and private sectors while they inspire enthusiasm; promote international understanding and co-operation; foster an interactive global network of students, teachers and alumni; encourage the innovative development of space for peaceful purposes so as to improve life on Earth and enable the advancement of humanity into space.

 

 

 

 

 

ISU Programmes

 

Tailored to the needs of postgraduates and professionals in the space sector or those who wish to work in space-related field, ISU offers two academic programmes:

 

  • Summer Session Program (SSP)
  • Master of Space Studies (MSS)

 

 

Because of Kingston's Affiliate Campus status, Kingston students and graduates are eligible for 50% funding towards the tuition cost of the SSP and MSS programmes, in addition to the normal financial support that ISU may be able to provide to successful applicants. ISU programmes cover scientific, technical, commercial, legal and social skills relevant to space-related fields and activities. ISU programmes are delivered by permanent and part-time faculty and by lecturers drawn from academia, government and industry sectors from around the world.
